This Indenture made the twenty first day of March in the year
one thousand eight hundred and fifty three, Between Mordecai Myers
of the City Schenectady and State of New York, gentleman party of the
first, and Elias Bauknight of Alachua County in Florida party of the
Second, part, Witnesseth, that the Said party of the first part,
in consideration of the Sum of one Hundred dollars to him duly paid
before the delivery hereof, hath bargained and Sold, and by these presents
do grant and convey to the Said party of the Second part, his heirs and
assigns for ever, All that certain lot piece or parcel of land Situate
lying and being in the State of Florida, in a tract Known as the
Aredondo grant, and being the South Quarter of section thirty three
in Township eleven South in Range twenty East, containing one hundred
and Sixty acres more or less, with the appurtenances, and all the Estate,
title and interest, of the Said party of the first part therein And
the said party of the first part, doth hereby covenant and agree
with the said party of the Second part, that at the time of the delivery
hereof, the said party of the first part, is the lawful owner of the
premises above granted, and Seized thereof in fee Simple absolute, and
and that he will Warrant and Defend the above granted premises
in the Quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the Second
part, and to his heirs and assigns for ever.
    In Witness Whereof, the said party of the first part, hath here=

dwelling in Said City, commissioned and Sworn, and duly authorized to
take the Same, and further, that I am well acquainted with the
