Quit Claim Joseph Lawton to Moses E. Levy
This Indenture made and Entered into this third day of April
AD 1852 between Joseph Lawton of Charleston S.C. party of the first
part and Moses E. Levy of St. Augustine Florida party of the Second part
Witnesseth: that the Said party of the first part in consideration of
the Sum of Two hundred and Seventy five Dollars to him in hand
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained
Sold aliened released and quit claimed and by these presents doth
grant bargain Sell alien release and quit claim unto the Said
Moses E. Levy his heirs and assigns all that certain Portion of
Sec 8. T9. Range 19 of the Arredondo Grant so called in the County
of Alachua which dies or may fall within the lines of the South
half of the Fernandez Grant so called Said quantity of Land so
conflicting being Estimated at 150 acres more or less To Have and
To Hold unto the Said Moses E. Levy free Quit Claimed and discharged
of and from all claim or demand of the Said party of the first
part or of any person claiming or to claim by through or under
him the Said party of the first part and to be possessed and enjoyed
by the Said party of the second part free of all Such claim or
demand to him the Said party of the Second part his heirs and
assigns forever
In Witness Whereof the Said party of the first part hath
hereunto Set his hand and seal the day and year
