Said George Morton Payne, George R. Fairbanks, and William A. Forward
are Commissioners duly appointed and fully authorized, by the Court, to

execute titles^the respective purchases of lands sold under the decree
relating to the Arredendo grant.
In Testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand and affix the seal
of the Circuit Court of St Johns County, at the City of St Augustine,

This Indenture made the twenty fourth
day of January in the year of our Lord one Thousand eight hundred
and fifty four, and in the Seventy ninth year of the Independance
of thee United States of America, Between John F. McDonell of
Marion County Said State of the first part, Mary McDonell wife
of the said John F. McDonell of the second part, and James S. Brice
and Chistopher S. Brice of Alachua County of the third part,
Witnesseth, that the said John F. McDonell for and in consideration
of the sum of twelve thousand Seven hundred and fifty five dollars to
him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of of these presents
by the said James S. Brice, and Chistopher S. Brice, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained, sold, aleined,
conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell,
alien, convey and confirm, unto the said James S. Brice and Christopher
S. Brice, their heirs and assigns, all that parcel or tract of land
situate lying and being in said Alachua County and more particularly
known and described as follows, that is to say, Section number thirty two, Township
eleven, Range nineteen, containing six hundred and thirty two and sixty hundredths
acres more or less, also the North East Quarter of Section six, Township Eleven
Range nineteen, containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less, also the
North West Quarter of Section number four, Township twelve, Range nineteen,
containing one hundred an sixty acres more or less, also all that portion
of land lying North of the line dividing the Counties of Alachua and
Marion of the South West Quarter, Section number four, Township
twelve, Range nineteen, containing twenty five acres more or less, also
all that portion of land lying North of the line dividing the said Counties,
of Section five Township twelve, Range Nineteen, containing three hundred
and seventy seven acres more or less, all which is known and described
in plan of the Arredondo Grant Survey. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD
the said lands with all and singular the rights members and appurtenan-
ces thereof whatsoever to the said lands being belonging or in any wise
appertaining with the remainder and remainders, reversion and reversions,
rents, issues, and profits, thereof, to the only proper use, benefit, and
behoof of the said James S. Brice, and Christopher S. Brice, their heirs
Executors, Administrators and assigns in fee simple, and the said John F. McDonell
