Know all men by these presents, that I William Gibbons of the
County of Alachua, and State of Florida, in consideration of my indebtet=
=ness of one hundred and fifty dollars to my mother Delia D. Gibbons
of the same plase, the receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge, have sold,
transferred, and assigned unto my mother the said Delia D. Bibbons,
certain debts due and owing to me, from Sundry persons, to wit, from W.H.
G. Sanders $34.36. Joseph Warren, .75. Asa Clark 87 1/2, Thadius Warren
37 1/2, M. Adams 3. 62 1/2, B. M. Dell 2,35. D.O. Hires 1,12. John D Weimer
14.94. Blake Williamson 5,34, Leonard H. Walker 45,35. S.N. Caston 27.05
Miss M. Sanchez 2,25. Henry Mattair 2,25. W. Connelly 2,00 Z Welhoner 2,28
S.J. Sanchez 4,00. James Kelly 1.50  R. Ault 6,08. E.S. Gunnell 75, John
T. Prevatt 2, 51, S.W. Burnett 8, 87 1/2, G.S. Sanchez 21,50. G.H. Sanchez
6.75, James Kennard 2,88, Amounting in all to two hundred dollars for
goods purchased from me the William Gibbons. And I do hereby authorise
the said Delia Gibbons in my name, or otherwise, but at her own costs
to Sue for Collect and usive, Sell transfer Settle and discharge the Saaid
debts, and I do Covenant that the Said Sum of two hundred dollars
is justly owing and due to me from the Said persons above named, and
that I have neither done, nor will do any thing to lessen or discharge
the Said debts, or hinder the said Delia Gibbons or her assigns from
collecting the same
            In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and
Seal this twenty fifth day of February  1854
