Know all men by these presents that I George M. Galpin of
the County of Alachua and State of Florida, for and in consider
ation of the sum nine hundred dollars to me in hand paid by
Samuel Lasseter of said County and State, at and before the sealing
and delivery of these present, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge,
have granted, bargained, Sold, conveyed, aliened, remised, released and
confirmed, and do by these presents grant, bargain, sell, convey,
alien, remise, release, convey and confirm unto the said Samuel
Lasseter the following described lots of land lying and situated in
the Town of Newnansville Alachua County, State of Florida,
and known and described on the map of said Town on file in
the office of the Judge of Probate of Alachua County, as follows,
to wit, lots number one(1) and two(2) and part of Number three(3)
also part of lots seven(7) and 8(8) in Block Number four(4)
Range Number two(2) Bounded as follows, Commencing in the North
west corner of said Block running East two hundred and ninety feet
(29) thence fourth two hundred and ten feet(210) Thence West one
hundred and fifty five feet(155) to the North west corner of Dr.
J.G. Dell's lot, thence South Ninety six(96) to the North East
corner of Dr E.R. Power ? lot thence west one hundred and thirty five
(135) then North three hundred and six feet (306) to the place of
beginning, or North West Corner, except so much of said lots as is occupied
by John G. Rawls where his Store House stands, which commences one
hundred and three feet(103) South of the beginning or North West Corner
of said Block, running fifty feet, (55), and seventy six feet back
or East, with all the appurtenances, and all the claim, right, title,
interest and demand of use the said George M. Galpin in and
to the premises, to have and to hold the same with the appur-
tenances unto the said Samuel Lasseter, his heirs and assigns
for ever in fee simple, and I the said George M. Galpin for
my self, and my heirs, Executors, and Administrators, do hereby
covenant, grant and agree to and with the said Samuel Lasseter
that I am now the owner of the said premises, and that I am seized
of a good indeafeaseble estate of inheritance therein, and that I have full
right and power to sell and convey the same in fee simple, absolute,
that the said premises are free and clear of all encumbrances, that the
said Samuel Lasseter and his heirs and assigns may for ever hereafter
have, hold, occupy,possess and enjoy this same without any suits
