Know all men by these presents that I Washington W. Geiger
of Alachua County and State of Florida, for and in consideration
of the sum of five to me in hand paid by Moses E. Levy of St.
Johns County, and aforesaid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknow
=ledged, do hereby give, grant, bargain, Sell and convey unto the said
Moses E. Levy, his heirs and assigns forever, a certain parcel of land
consisting of the following tracts, namely fraction seven of Township
Eleven, and Range twenty; Section thirteen of Township eleven and
Range nineteen, section eleven of Township eleven and Range Nineteen,
Section fourteen of Township eleven, and Range nineteen, together with
fraction three of the same Township and Range, all of which tracts
is part and parcel of the Arredondo Grant and Situate in County of
Alachua and State of Florida, and containing in all two thousand
two hundred and sixty acres more or less of land and land covered with
water, to have and to hold the above granted premises to the
Said Moses E. Levy, his heirs and assigns for ever, and that will, and
my heirs, Executors and Administrators Shall warrant and defend the
Same to the said Moses E. Levy his heirs and assigns for ever
against the lawful claims and demands of all persons, provided,
nevertheless that if the Said Washington W. Geiger, his heirs, Executors,
Administrators and assigns, Shall pay unto the said Moses E. Levy his
Executors, Administrators or Assigns, three certain promisory notes, respectively
when due, the first note for Sixteen hundred and twenty five dollars
dated November 2nd 1853, and due the first day of January 1855, with
interest from date, the Second note for the same amount and bearing
the Same date, and due the first day of January 1856, with interest
from date, the third note for the Same amount and the first and due
the first day of January 1857, with interest from date, then this Deed
Shall be void to all intents and purposes, otherwise Shall remain in
full force and virtue,
           In Witness Whereof, I the said Washington W. Geiger
hath hereunto Set my hand and seal this third day of March in the
year one thousand eight hundred and fifty four,
   The word execution on the 24th line erased before assigned, the word amount
on the 38th line interlined before assigned   }
