St. Johns County } This Indenture made the 21st day of May, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one, Between Richard F.
Floyd of the one part, and Peter Arnow of the other part, Witnesseth,
that the said Richard F. Floyd for and in consideration of the Sum of
five hundred dollars, to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is
hereby confessed and acknowledged, hath granted, bargained and sold, and
by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell, unto the said Peter Arnow,
his heirs and assigns forever, all that lot of land lying within the
Arredondo Grant, known as Section Ten, and fractional Section three,
in Township 9, South of Range 21 east, containing one thousand acres
more or less, and all trees, woods, underwoods, commons and common of
pasture, ways, water courses, profits, commodities, advantages, hereditaments,
and appurtenances whatever, to the said lot or lots of land above mentioned,
belonging or in any wise appertaining; and the reversion and reversions,
remainder and remainders, rents, issues and profits, of the said premises,
and of every part and parcel thereof, and all the Estate, right, title,
interest, claim and demand whatsoever, of him, the said Richard F.
Floyd of, and in, and to the said lot or lots of land and premises, and
every part thereof To have and to hold the said lot of land
above described, and all and singular other the premises above
mentioned, and every part and parcel thereof, with the appurtenances
unto the said Peter Arrnow, and his heirs and assigns, and the
Said Richard F. Floyd for himself and his heirs, the said lot of land
and premises, and every part thereof against him the said Richard
F. Floyd, and against his heirs, and against all and every other
person and persons whomsoever, to the said Peter Arnow, his heirs
and assigns Shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents,

personally appeared F.C. Humphreys to me well known who being
duly sworn, deposes and says, that he witnessed the signature of
Richard F. Floyd to the within instrument of writing; and that
he executed the same for the purposes therein Stated
