year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty Six, with
interest of Six per cent thereon calculated from the first day of January
one thousand eight hundred and fifty four, until the whole sum of
twelve thousand Seven hundred and fifty five dollars with the interest
therein Shall be fully paid, then these presents shall be void, and the Said
John F. McDonell, his heirs, Executors and administrators, covenants with
the Said James S. Brice, and Christopher S. Brice, their heirs, Executors,
or administrators, upon the payment of the said sum of twelve thousand
Seven hundred fifty five dollars, with the interest in the manner and
times described, to release unto the said James S. Brice, and Christopher
S. Brice, their heirs Executors, or administrators, all right and title
to the land and premises, herein mortgaged.
   In Witness Whereof, the parties to these presents have here=
=unto severally affixed their hands and seals the day and year first
above written.

the foregoing instrument of writing for the
purposes therein set forth
