Christina my wife and the three youngest children my hole
Estate, each one to have equal Share during my wife's life=

Alachua County   }  Know all men by these presents that I
Thomas E. Hale of the said County of Alachua, in the said
State of Florida, am held and firmly bound unto Edward Hale
Guardian of Janet Matheson and Catherine Matheson in the
Sum of eight thousand Six hundred and Seventy two dollars
(8672) 30/100 thirty cents lawful money of the United States of America
for the payment whereof well and truly to be made to the said
Edward Hale Guardian as aforesaid, his Executors, Administrators
and assigns, I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, Executors, admin=
=istrators, and assigns, and every of them firmly by these presents
The condition of the above obligation is such, that if the
above bound Thomas E. Hale, his heirs Executors, Administrators
or any of them, Shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid
unto the said named Edward Hale, Guardian as aforesaid his Executors,
Administrators, or assigns, the just and lawful sum of four thousand
three hundred and thirty six dollars and fifteen cents (4336 15/100)
lawful money as aforesaid, on or before the first day of January in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty five,
with interest there upon at the rate of seven per cent per annum
payable annually without fraud or further delay, than this obligation
to be void and no effect, or else to remain and be in full force
and virtue in law.
   Signed with my hand, sealed with my seal, and dated the
twenty fourth day of March, in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty four

Alachua County   } Court of Alachua County, Eastern Judicial
Circuit of Florida, personally came McRa Brevard who being
duly sworn according to law, says that he signed the foregoing instrument
of writing as a witness for the purposes therein set forth, and that
signed the same in the presence of the other subscribing witness.
