sales by the amount of such taxes and expenses so assessed & due
upon the same, and thereupon George R. Fairbanks being the highest
bidder when said lands became the purchaser of all said lands
as they were respectively offered for the aggregate sum of One hundred
and Sixty nine 40/100 dollars, being the amount of the Taxes so assessed
against said lands and the expenses and costs attending the collection
thereof
Now therefore the said party of the first part Tax Assessor
and Collector as aforesaid by virtue of the Statue in Such cases made
and provided in consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars and
Sixty nine dollars and forty cents to me in hand paid by the said
George R. Fairbanks the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and
sell unto the said George R. Fairbanks his heirs and assigns
forever the within above described Lands, with all appurtenances
thereto respectively belonging and all Estates, right,title, intrest,
claim and demand whatsoever which the heirs Representatives
or assigns of the said George Atkinson or Geo R. Fairbanks or either
of them have or had or any other person by through or under them
or Either of them in and to said lands or any part or parcel
thereof either in law or equity at the time said assessment of
taxes was made or since.
To have and to hold the aforesaid described premises
and their appurtenances with the said Geroge R. Fairbanks his heirs
and assigns forever as fully and absolutely as the said party of
the first part Tax Assessor & Collector as aforesaid and under the
authority aforesaid of the laws of Florida might could or aught to
sell and convey the same.

hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first

Personally appeared before the Subscriber Clerk of
the Circuit Court in and for the said county, M. OBrien one of the
Subscribing witnesses to the forgoing Deed who being duly sworn
Says that he saw Charles L. Wilson Sheriff & Exofficio Tax Collector
of Alachua County Florida Sign, Seal and Deliver said Deed
for the purposes therein mentioned and that Jerome A. Jones
was also a subscribing witness.
