     This Indenture made the first day of April in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty four. Between
Thadeus A. McDonnell and Donald R. McDonnell of the
County of Alachua, and Town of Micanopy, and said State
of the first part, and George A. Dewson of the same place
of the second part, Witnessth the said Thadeus A. McDonnell
and Donald R. McDonnell, for and in consideration of the sum of
nine hundred dollars, lawful money of the United States of America
to them in hand paid, by the said George A. Dewson, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargain, sold, aliened, enffeoffed,
confirmed and delivered, and by these presents, do grant,
bargain, sell, alien enfeoff, convey, confirm and deliver unto
the said George A. Dewson a certain lot of land situate
lying and being in the Town of Micanopy in said State,
and more particularly described as follows, that is to say,
lying on the public square, and bounded on the West by
John Cosbys lands, on the North by George Paynes
land, on the South by Public Street, and on the East
by Public Square, having fifty five feet front, and one
hundred feet deep, to have and to hold unto the said
George A. Dewson, his heirs and assigns, together with 
the buildings, rights privileges and appurtenances thereunto
belonging, to the sole only use and benefit of the
