Know all men by these presents that we Samuel J. Kennard
and Ideler his wife of the town of Newnansville, County of
Alachua Florida, am held and firmly bound unto George L. Brown
of the County and State aforesaid in the Sum of four hundred
and ninety eight & 4/100 dollars to be paid to the said George L.
Brown his certain attorney, Executors, Administrators, or assigns,
for which payment well and truly, to be made we bind our
Selves, our heirs, Executors, and Administrators, and every of them
firmly by these presents, Sealed with our Seals and dated this 25th
day of April 1854. The condition of this obligation is
Such, that if the above bounden Samuel J. Kennard, and Ideler
his wife, their or either of their heirs, Executors, or Administrators
do, and shall well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the
Said George L. Brown his Executors, or Administrators, the Sum
of two hundred and forty nine and 2/100 dollars, with interest
at 8 per cent from the date hereof, or or before the first day of
January next, then this obligation Shall be void, otherwise
the same shall remain in full force and virtue

do hereby hereby certify that the execution of the foregoing instrument
of writing by Ideler Kennard wife of Saml J. Kennard, was
acknowledged by her before me, Seperate and apart from her said
husband, and that she declared the same to be her own free and
voluntary, without any compulsion, constraint, or fear of, or
from her said Husband
