a Justice of the peace in and for the County and State
aforesaid, duly authorised by law to administer oaths, Ideler
Kennard, who is to me well known, and acknowledged that
She executed the foregoing Indenture and relinquishment
of Dower, freely, and voluntarily, and without constraint,
compulsion, apprehension, or fear of, or from her said husband
And I certify that the Said acknowledgment was made

   State of Florida }
   Alachua County   } This Indenture made & entered into
this twenty Seventh day of April, eighteen hundred and fifty
four, Between John Lewis Edward King and John Penney
acting Executive Committee for the Board of trustees for East
Florida Seminary, of the one part, & George R. Clotfelter
Guardian for George W. Clotfelter, of the other part, all of 
the County & State aforesaid, Witnesseth, that the said Execu=
=tive Committee for the sum of one hundred dollars in hand paid
at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby lease unto the said
George R. Clotfelter Guardian &c aforesaid, all that lot
or parcel of land containing one acre more or less & designated
on the plan of survey of Seminary lands in the Town of Mica=
=nopy, as lot No. 7 for ninety nine years and their successors
in office Shall renew Said lease unto the said Guardian &c,
aforesaid, or the heirs and assigns of George W. Clotfelter at
the end of that time & so on in perpetuity, and Said Committee
conveys, & G.R. Clotfelter receives the aforesaid premises on this
condition viz, that the said Clotfelter, his heirs & assigns Shall
revert to the last vender who shall reenter thereon, and so
on in perpetuity, the Said committee or Trustees will warrant
& defend this lease to the said George R. Clotfelter Guardian &c
aforesaid, whereunto we set our hands and seals this 27th
