for the years Eighteen hundred and fifty and Eighteen hundred
and fifty one the said Taxes being due and unpaid and all the
expenses which had occurred in and about the advertisement and
sale thereof, And whereas it became necessary to offer the whole
undivided interest of the heirs of William Garvin deceased in said tract
of land: before an amount was bid therefor sufficient to pay said
Taxes, costs and expenses.
And whereas at said sale the said Bennett M. Dell
became and was the highest and last bidder for the said undi
vided interest in the said tract of land, at the Sum of Seventy
one dollars and Eighty cents.
Now therefore know all men by these
presents that I the said Charles L. Wilson, Sheriff & Ex offico
Tax Assessor & Collector as aforesaid for and in consideration of
the sum of Seventy one dollars and Eighty cents to me paid by
the said Bennett M. Dell at and before the sealing and delivery
of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and
by virture of the power and authority vested in me by law:
have granted, bargined, sold and conveyed; and do by these
presents grant, bargin, sell and convey unto the said Bennett
M. Dell his heirs and assigns forever the following described property
to wit: The undivided interest of the heirs of William Garvin
deceased in and to a certain tract of land situated in Sections
nine, fifteen, sixteen, twenty one and twenty two of Township Eight
South Range Eighteen East; Which said tract of land was
granteed to the aforesaid William Garvin deceased by the Spainish
government on the twenty-sixth day of November in the year
Eighteen hundred and seventeen.
To have and to hold the same unto the said Bennett
M. Dell his heirs, excuters, administrators and assigns as fully
and absolutely as I, the said Charles L. Wilson, Sheriff and Ex-
officio Tax collector as aforesaid am authorized by law to
Sell and convey the same.
And I the said Charles L. Wilson, Sheriff and Tax
Collecter, as aforesaid, do hereby covenant to and with the said
Bennett M. Dell his heirs, excuters, administraters and assigns
that in the advertisement and sale of the above described prop-
erty and in all things connected therewith, I have observed
and complied with the rules, directions and requirements of
the law in such cases made and provided.

Wilson, Sheriff and Ex officio Tax Collecter as aforesaid have
herewith set my hand and seal, the day and year first above
