                   This Indenture made this the second day of Decbr
in the Year of our Lord Eighteen hundred & forty Six between Charles L. Dell
of the County And State aforesaid of the One part and Thomas W. Piles of
the State of Florida and County of Alachua of the other part. Witnesseth
that the Said Charles L. Dell for and in Consideration of the Sum of Sixty
Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the Sealing and Delivery
of these presents, the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted,
bargained, and Sold and Conveyed and doth by these presents grant
bargain Sell and Convey unto the Said Thomas W. Piles his heirs and
assigns all that tract or parcel of Land Situate, lying and being
in the County of Alachua State of Florida Known and distinguished
in the Plats of the U S Land Office at Newnansville as the 
South West qr of the North East qr of Section Thirty four Township Seven
Range Eighteen South and East No186 Containing forty acres
more or less with all the rights members and appurtenances thereto
belonging. To have and to hold the afore described lot of Land unto
him the Said Thomas W. Piles his heirs and assigns together with
all the rights members and Appurtenances to the Said lot of Land
in any wise belonging to his and their own proper use benefit
and behoof forever in fee simple
          And the Said Charles L. Dell for himself his heirs
Executors and Administrators the Said bargained premises together
with the rights title and possession thereof unto the Said Thomas W.
Piles his heirs and assigns, will Warrant and forever defend
the right and title thereof against themselves and against the
claim of all other persons whatever
         In testimony Whereof the Said Charles L. Dell hath
hereunto Set his hand and affixed his Seal the day and Year
first above Written

                   I Amanda C. Dell do hereby Acknowledge
and declare under my hand and Seal that the release and
relinquishment of Dower in the above Deed Contained is Made
freely and Voluntarilu and without and Compulsion, Constraint
Apprehension or fear of or from My husband the Said Charles L
Dell and that I did Join in Said deed and execute
the Same for the purposes theirin Explained
          Witness my hand and Seal this fifteenth day
of Janry AD 1847
