This indenture made the 12th day of January
in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Fifty-two
and in the 77th year of the independence of the United States of America
between William Bloodgood & Thos Tileston of New York City of the one
part and John F. McDonald of Alachua Co of the other part
Witnesseth: That the said William Bloodgood & Thomas Tileston
for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred & Sixty 30/100
acres(dollars)in hand paid, at and before the Sealing and delivery of these
presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted
bargined, sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed and by these presents
doth grant, bargin, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said
John F. McDonald his heirs and assigns all that certain South
East quarter of Section No 4 Township No 12 & Range 19 of the
Arredondo Grant & also the NW quarter of said Section 4, T12,
R19 of said Grant containing 321 acres more or less conjointly.
To have and to hold the said lands with all and singular
the rights, members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever. To the said
lands being, belonging or in anywise appertaining, with the
remainder and remainders, reversion and reversions, rents issues
and Proffits thereof, To the only proper use, benefit and behoof
of the said John F. McDonald his heirs, executers and administraters
and assigns, in fee simple: And the said William Bloodgood and
Thomas Tileston for themselves & heirs, executers and administraters
do covenant with the said John F. McDonald his heirs, executers
and administraters, and they are lawfully Seized in fee of the
afore granted premises: that they are free from all incumberances
that they have good right to sell and convey the same to the said
John F. McDonald as aforesaid; and that they will and their heirs,
executers and administraters shall warrant and defend the same
and every part thereof, to the said John F. McDonald his heirs,
assigns forever against all lawful demands of all persons by
virture of these presents.

hereunto set their hands and affixed their Seals, the day and year

Alachua County, Personally appeared before me, William Bloodgood
& Thomas Tileston by G.F. Fairbanks, their Atty, to me well known and
acknowledged that he had executed the above Instrument for the purpose
therein set forth. Witness by my hand this 12th July 1852.
