                    This indenture, made the twenty-firth day of Feby in
          the year one thousand eight-hundred and fifth-two, between Mordecai
          Myers of the city of Schenectada and State of New York, party of the
          first part and John R. Saunders of Alachua County in the State of 
          Florida, party of the Second part, Witnesseth, that the said party of the
          first part in consideration of the sum of Two hundred dollars to
          him duly paid before the delivery hereof, hath bargained and sold
          and by these presents doth grant and convey to the said party of the
          Second part , his heirs and assigns forever, All that certain lot,
          piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the Arredonda
          grant in Alachua County in East Florida and known as Section
          12 (twelve), Range (Twenty) 20, Township (10) Ten and containing Six
          hundred & fifty three acres, more or less, with the appurtenances
          and all the Estate, title and interest, of the said party of the first part
          therein. And the said party of the first part doth hereby covenant
          and agree with the said party of the second part that at the time
          of the delivery hereof, the said party of the first part is the lawful
          owner of the premises above granted and seized thereof in fee simple
          absolute and that he will warrant and defend the above granted premises
          in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second
          part, his heirs and assigns for ever.
                    In witness whereof the said party of the first part
          hath hereunto set his hand and Seal on the day and year first
          above written

          1852 before me the undersigned, a Commissioner appointed by the
          Govenor of the State of Florida by letter patent under the Great Seal
          of said State to administer oaths and take the proof and acknowledgement
          of Deeds and other instruments under Seal to be used and recorded
          in Florida in and for the State of New York and as such duly com-
          missioned and sworn and dwelling in the City of New York, per-
          sonally appeared Mordecai Myers to me personally known to be
          the individual described is who executed the forgoing conveyance
          & acknowledges to me that he had executed the same.
                            In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed
