Fifty two personally appeared Louisa Jane Hancock & Shadrick
Hancock who severally appeared before & acknowledged before the
Subscriber the Signing of the within instrument of writing for
the purposes therein mentioned this day & year above written

This Indenture made this Fifth day of April in the Year one thousand
Eight hundred and fifty two between Charles L. Wilson Sheriff of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida party of the first part and George R.
Fairbanks of St. Augustine in the Same State party of the second Part,
Witnesseth that Whereas by an Execution issued out of the Circuit Court
for the County of St Johns & State of Florida bearing date June 20th 1840 in
favour of Peter B. Dumas against John M. Fontane Executor of George I.
F. Clarke deceased and directed to all and every of the Sheriffs of the
State of Florida and commanding them to levy and collect of the
goods and chattels lands and tenements of Said George I.F. Clarke
in the hands of Said John M. Fontane Executor to be administered the
Sum of One hundred and Twenty 75/100 Dollars with interest from the
20th day of June 1848 to Satisfy the Said Peter B. Dumas and also one
other execution issued out of the Cir Court of the County of St Johns and
State aforesaid bearing date on the 26th day of Apl 1849 in favour of
Elias B. Gould Plaintiff against John M. Fontane Executor of Geo I.
F. Clarke deceased and directed to the Sheriff of Said State and
Commanding them to levy and collect of the Goods and Chattels
lands and tenements of Said Geo I. F. Clarke decd in the hands
of John M. Fontane Executor to be administered the Sum of Five
hundred Dollars with interest from the 8th day of June 1844 to
Satisfy the Said Elisa B. Gould his Damages aforesaid and which
Said Executors were Severally to me delivered and in
pursuance thereof I proceeded on the 15th day of January
1852 to levy the Same upon that certain tract of Land here=
inafter particularly described & Known as the Atkinson Grant
Situated within the Said County of Alachua and duly
advertised the Same for Sale according to the provisions of
