                             This indenture made the first day of January in
          the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Fifty, between David Lee
          and Ann D. Lee, his wife, of the state of New York of the first part and
          Washington W. Geiger  of Alachua County , State of Florida of the second part
          Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, in consideration of the
          sum of Six hundred & Sixty Eight-60/100($668, 60/100) Dollars to them duly paid before
          the delivery hereof, have bargined and sold, and by these presents do grant
          and convey to said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, forever
          All that certain Piece, Parcel or fractional Section of land situate in the
          Arredondo Grant in Alachua County & Marion County in the State of Florida
          known and designated on a certain map of said grant made in 1846
          by Messrs Burr & Washington as Section Twenty one in Township Eleven (11)
          in Range Twenty and containing Four hundred & seven 68/100 be the same
          more or less, Two hundred and fifty-six acres of which which according to
          said Survey being land covered by water. The said fractional Section of
          Land was bid in by the party of the first part at a public sale
          of said grant made for the purposes of partition by the Messrs Payne Child
          and Forward Commissioners on the Twenty-first day of February 1849
          and several succesive days thereafter which said sale was made by
          said Commissioners under an order of the Circuit Court of St. Johns
          County, Florida and was confirmed by the said Court at its
          June Term in the year 1849.
               With the appurtenances and all the Estate, title and interest of
          the said parties of the first part therein. And the said parties of the
          first part do hereby covenant and agree with the said parties of
          the second part, that at the time of the delivery hereof the said parties
          of the first part are the lawful owners of the premises above granted
          and seized thereof in fee simple absolute. and that they will warrant
          and defend the above granted premises in the quiet and peaceable
          possession of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns
          forever.
                  In witness whereof the said parties of the first part have 
          hereunto Set their hands and Seals the day and year first above 
          written.

                                    Be it known that on this Nineth day of
          November 1850 before me, a Commissioner appointed by the Governor
          of the said State to be used in the State of Florida, personally
          appeared David Lee & Ann D. Lee his wife who severally
          acknowledged that they have Executed the within instrument
          of writing and the said Ann D. Lee  upon a private examination
