Apart from her said husband acknowledged that she had
executed the same of her own free will and without fear
Comprehension of her said husband.
And I certify that I am acquainted with the parties who
make the said acknowledgements and know them to be the same
described in & who executed the foregoing conveyance.

This Indenture made the first
day of December in the year one thousand & fifty, Between
Letitia Fanshaw, widow of Williams H.W. Fanshaw, Ann E. Cochran,
Arrabella Cockran, Elizabeth Cocakran, John Cockran and Mary
Jane Cockran, surving heirs at law of John Cockran, deceased
of the first part and Washington W. Geiger of Alachua County Florida
of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and Eighty
three 78/100 Dollars lawful money of the United States of America to
them paid by said party of the second part, at and before the
Ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof hereby
acknowledged, have granted, bargaqined, sold aliened, remised released
conveyed and confirmed, and by theses presents do grant, bargain,
sell, alien, remise, release, convey and confirm, unto the said party
of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever, All that
certain fraction of land situate in the Arredonda Grant in Alachua
County State of Florida known on a certain map of said grant made
by Messers Burr & Washington as Fractional Section Twenty-two(22)in
Township Eleven (11) in Range Twenty(20), containing three hundred
and fifty-four 7/100 acres of land be same more or less, said
fractional Section among others having been bid in by the parties
of the first part at a Sale of said grant made on the 24th day of
Feburary 1849 and several Sucessive days thereafter till all
the Lands in the said grant was sold for the purpose of partioning
the Land amoung the several owners thereof under order
of the Circuit Court of St. Johns County Florida dated November
