The State of Florida under the laws, and commissioned under
the great Seal of that State, duly affirmed and qualified to take
testimony, acknowledgments &C &C to be used or recorded in that
State.  Do by this instrument of writing given under my 
hand and official Seal, Certify that on the 31st day of January
1852 before me in the State of New York personally appeared
David Henry Haight Signer and Sealer of the Annexed
instrument, and acknowledged to Same to be his free act

To all people to whom these presents Shall come Greeting. Know
ye that I, James T. Thomas of Alachua County and State of Florida
  For the Consideration of One hundred & fifty Dollars received to my
full Satisfaction of Ozias Budington of Duval County, State of 
Florida   Do Give grant Bargain, Sell & Confirm unto the Said
Ozias Budington the following Property Viz Two lots of land
Lot No One of Section Thirty four in Township Eight South
of Range Twenty two East in the District of lands Subject to
Sale at St Augustine State of Florida Containing Twenty Seven
acres and thirteen hundredths of an acre." Lot No One of
Section Twenty Seven in Township Eight South of Range Twenty
Two East in the District of lands Subject to Sale at St Augustine
State of Florida Containing" Thirty four acres and twenty nine
hundredth of an acre according to the Official plat of the 
Survey of the Said Lands returned to the General Land Office
by the Surveyor General.  Together with all the rights, Priviledges
Emmunities and appurtenances of whatsoever nature thereunder
belonging
          To have and to hold the above Granted & Bargained
premises unto him the Said Ozias Budington his heirs and
assigns forever to his and their own proper use and behoof
and also I the Said James T. Thomas do for myself my
heirs Executors and administrators covenant with the 
Said Ozias Budington his heirs and assigns that at
and untill the Ensealing of these presents am well
Seized of the premises a good indefeasible Estate in fee -
Simple and have good right to Bargain and Sell the
