State of Florida   }  To all whom these presents Shall
County of Alachua  }  Come We Bennett M. Dell and
                   }  Samuel R. Piles, Executors of the
last will and testament of James Dell, late of the
above State & County deceased & who have taken on
themselves the Execution of Said Will send Greeting,
Whereas the said James Dell decsd in and by a certain
codicil or direction attached and under written to his said
last will & testament in these words that is to say, "It is
"my wish that my executors should make a title to Philip
"Dell or his heirs for one eight of Land where he now
"resides or plants, numbered as follows N.W 1/2 N. W 1/4 Range
"18. Township Seven Section 26, did thereby authorize and
instruct to convey a title to the above described lands
to Philip Dell or his heirs, and in and by said Will
did appoint us the said Bennet M. Dell & Saml R.
Piles, (who have taken on themselves the trust of said
will) together with his Son William T. Dell, since decsd
Executors thereof, Now Know Ye, that by virtue of the
Power & authority aforesaid, and of every other power and
authority us hereunto enabling, and in consideration
of the Sum of one dollar to us paid by the Said
Philip Dell the receipt of which we do hereby ack-
knowledge, We have granted bargained and Sold
& do hereby grant bargain Sell and convey to the
Said Philip Dell and his heirs and assigns forever
a certain piece of land lying and being in the County
of Alachua & Situated in the Alachua land district
of the United States and Known and described in
the Surveys of the United States and the legal Sub-
division thereof as the West half of the North West 1r. of
Section Twenty Six Township Seven South of Range Eighteen
East, being the Same land mentioned and described in Said
Codicil or direction containing by estimation Eighty acres,
To have and to hold the granted premises unto them the
Said Philip Dell his heirs and assigns forever And we the
Said Bennet M Dell and Saml R. Piles for ourselves our heirs
executors & Administrators, Covenant with the Said Philip
Dell and his heirs and assigns as aforesaid. that the
Said James Dell died Seized of the granted premises, that
they are free from any and all incumbrances done or suf-
-fered by either of that we will and our Executors & adminis-
-trators shall Warrant and defend to the said Philip Dell
or to his heirs and assigns against the lawful claim or demand
of any and all persons claiming or to claim by from or under the
Said James Dell deceased or us or either of us,
In Witness whereof we the said Bennett M. Dell and Saml R. Piles
Executors, as aforesaid have Set hands & affixed our Seals by
our Scrawl this Eleventh day of March AD 1850.
