          State of Florida, Micanopy, County of Alachua
             This indenture made the Seventeenth day of November in
          the year  one thousand eight hundred and fifty
          two and in the Seventy sixth year of the Independance of the United
          States of America, between Moses E. Levy of St Augustine Florida
          Serefina Chauviteau of Paris, France, & Joseph De Levante of London
          Eng. of the one part, and James T. Thomas of Alachua County of the
          other part, Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part
          for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred dollars in
          hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these pre-
          sents , the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted
          bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed and by these
          presents doth grant alien convey and confirm unto the said
          James Thomas his heirs and assigns those two certain sections
          of lands numbered Twenty nine and Thirty, Township Nine
          Range Twenty in the Aradondo grant, to have and to hold the 
          said property with all and singular the rights, members and
          appurtennances thereof whatsoever to the said James T. Thomas, being
          belonging or in any wise appertaining, with the remainder and re
          mainders reversion and reversions rents issues and profits there
          of to the only proper use benefit and behoof, of the said James T. 
          Thomas his heirs executors and administrators and assigns in fee
          simple and the said Moses E. Levy for his heirs Executors and Adminis
          trators do covenant with the said James T. Thomas his heirs executors
          and Administrators that he is lawfully seized in fee of the afore granted
          premises, that they are free from all encumberances, that he hath good
          right to sell and convey the same to the said James T. Thomas as aforesaid
          and that he will and his executors and administrators shall warrant
          and defend the same and every part thereof, to the said James T. Thomas
          his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful demands of all
          persons by virtue of these presents.
              In witness whereof the parties have severally hereunto set their hands
          and affixed their seals the day and year first written.
