County personally appeared L.M. Scarborough subscribing
witness to the within deed who after being duly sworn says
that he Saw W.W. Scott & J.G. Dell execute the Same for
the purposes therein expressed

    This Indenture made this twenty eight day of December in the
year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty two
by and between Franklin M. Stewart and Frances M. Stewart
his wife of the County of Marion and State of Florida of
the first part and John B. Standley of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida of the second part Witnesseth that
whereas Francis M. Stewart was and is an heir of
John M. Sanchez, and was married to Franklin Stewart
Now be it known to all men by these presents that the parties
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of
Eight hundred dollars, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold, and by these present do grant
bargain sell and convey unto John B. Standley of the County
and State aforesaid all their undivided interest being one
third or one hundred and thirty three and one third acres
(133 1/3 acres) of a certain Grant lying in what is called Cooleys
or San Felasco Hammock, granted to John M. Sanchez by the
Spanish Government and confirmed to the heirs of said
John M. Sanchez decd. containing four hundred acres, and
bounded as follows Beginning at a Red Oak marked X
S 25 95 Chs. N 25 E of a line run S65 E26.46 Chs from the
N.E. * of Francis R. Sanchez claim Thence 25 W 70 ch to
waters oak marked X S. thence S 65 E 57.50 chs to Willow
marked X S Thence N 25 E 70 Chs corner in a deep ground,
Thence N 65 W 57.50 chs to place of beginning, with all
and Singular the appurtenances and all the right title
interest, claim of them or other of them in the premises
To have and to hold the same with the appurtenances
unto the said John B. Standley and his heirs in fee simple
forever, And the parties of the first part for themselves
their heirs and assigns do covenant and agree to and
with the said John B. Standley and his heirs and
assigns that they are now the owners of the said
undivided third of said premises described and are
seized of a good indefeasible estate of inheritance therein
