therein, and the said party of the first part doth hereby covenant
and agree with the said party of the second part, that at the time of the
delivery hereof, the said party of the first part is the lawful owner of
the premises above granted, and seized thereof in fee Simple absolved.
and that he will warrant and defend the above granted premises in
the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part his
heirs and assigns forever.

of the Peace in and for the County and State aforesaid, personally appeared
Martha Ann Rawls wife of the above named John G. Rawls who
having been privately and separately examined apart from her said
husband by me, she says that she does freely, voluntarily and without
any compulsion on the part of her said husband, without any
fear or advice of any person whatsoever, renounce, release, and forever
relinquish unto the above named James Davis his heirs and assigns
all her interest and estate and all her right and claim of Dower to
all and singular the premises above described.

-ined by me separately and apart from her husband acknowledged

and voluntarily upon her part and without any compulsion fear
or constraint from her said husband.
