Know all men by these presents that William D. Clark and Susan C.
his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of fourteen hundred and fifty--
dollars to us in hand paid by Philip Dell at and before the ensealing and deli-
very of theses presents the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have granted
bargained sold aliened remised and released, and by these presents do grant
bargain, sell, alien, remise and release unto the said Philip Dell his heirs
executors, Administrators and assigns, all that certain piece parcel or tract of
land known and described on the maps of the United Survey as the Lots
No(11) & 12) Lots No eleven and twelve of Section (30)& South west quarter
of South west quarter of Sec 29, Tp seven S of Range twenty East contain
ing Two hundred acres more or less Together with all and singular the
priviledges and appurtenances to the said land in any wise appurtaining
and belonging to have and to hold the above granted premises to the said
Philip Dell, his heirs and assigns to his and their use, and behoff forever
and we the said William D. Clark and Susan C. Clark wife for ourselves
our heirs executors and administrators do covenant with the said Philip
Dell his heirs and assigns that we are lawfully seized in fee of the aforegranted
premises that they are free from all incumbrances, that we have a good
right to sell and convey the same to the said Philip Dell as aforesaid and
that we will and our executors & Administrators shall warrant and def-
end the same to the said Philip Dell his heirs and assigns forever against
the lawful demands of all persons whatsoever In testimony whereof we
have hereunto set our hands and seals this 30th day of April 1856

Know all men by presents that I Clark wife William D. Clark the
grantor of the foregoing Deed for the conveyance of Real Estate for and in
consideration of the premises in said deed ** cited as well as in considertion
of the sum one dollar to me in hand paid by the said Philip Dell the
receipt whereof I hereby acknowledge do hereby release and relinquish
unto the said Philip Dell all my right claim or equity of Dower in and
to the premises described in said Deed as fully and absolutely as I might
or could do the same.
