This Indenture made the third day of December in the
year one thousand Eight hundred and fifty three
Between Charles B. Brush and Eugene Van Ness, by
Julia A. Van Ness, his Attorney, Surviving executors of
Doctor Nehemiah Brush, late of the City and State of
New York deceased of the first part and Benjamin
T. Reives of the County of Alachua in the State of
Florida Planter--of the second Part, Witnesseth,
that the said parties of the first part, by virtue of the
power and authority to them given in and by the said
last "Will and Testament" and for and in considera-
tion of the sum of six hundred and twenty nine
20/100 Dollars $629 20/100, lawfull money of the United States
of America to them in hand paid, at or before the
ensealing and delivery of these presents, by the said party
of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged and the said party of the second part
his heirs, executors and administrators, forever
released and discharged from the same by these
presents, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, released,
conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant,
bargain, sell, alien, release, convey and confirm,
unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and
assigns forever, All that certain piece or parcel of
land situated in the County of Alachua in the
State of Florida, in a tract of land known as
the Arredonda Grant and which is designated an a
map of said Grant made in the year 1846 by Messrs
Burr and Washington as Section Number thirty four, 34,
in Township Number ten, 10, in range number twenty
one, 21, and Supposed to contain six hundred and
twenty nine acres and twenty hundredths of an acre
of land, be the same more or less, Said Section of
land having been purchased by the parties of the first
part for the use and benefit of the heirs of
the said Doctor Nehemiah Brush Deceased
At a Sale of Said grant made by order of Court
in the month of February 1849 As by reference
to the papers in the case of Brush et al or Pral et al
on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
of Alachua County in Said State of Florida will more
-fully appear
Together with all and Singular the edifices, buildings,
rights, members, privileges, advantages, hereditaments, and
Appurtinances to the same belonging or in any wise
Appurtaining; And all the reversion and reversions, remainder
and remainders, rents issues and profits thereof And
Also, All the estate, right, title, interest, claim and
demand whatsoever, both in law and equity,
which the Said Testator had in his lifetime, and
And at the time of his decease and which the
Said parties of the first part, or either of them
have or hath, by virtue of the Said last Will |
