notice of the time and place of sale as by the statute in
such case made and provided and whereas the said
Special Master George B. Ellis did in pursuance of such
Decree duly advertise and give public notice of such sale
thereof on the second Tuesday of December in the year
1856, and whereas in pursuance of such Decree and of
said notice of sale the said Special Master George B. Ellis
did on the said second Tuesday of December in the year 1856
being the 9th day of December before the Court House door
at Gainesville the County site of Alachua County
offer for sale at public auction the lands herein before
described and all of the same in and parcel and
upon such sale the said complainants John Boston &
John L. Villalonger having bid the same off Five Hundred
Dollars for the said Land and that being the highest
sum bid for the same the said lands were thereupon
knocked down to the said John L. Boston and
John L. Villalonger. Know therefore this Indenture
Witnesseth that the said George B. Ellis Special Master
as aforesaid in consideration of the sum of Five
Hundred Dollars to him in had paid by the
said John Boston & John L. Villalonger the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, Hath bargained
granted and sold and by these presents doth
grant bargain and sell unto the said John Boston
and John L. Villalonger their heirs and assigns forever
all those tracts and parcels of land herein before
described and mentioned and referred to in
said decree. To have and to hold the said
premises and all the appurtenances there to belonging
to the said John Boston and Jno L. Villalonger
their heirs and assigns forever as fully and as absolutely
as the said Special Master can, should or ought to sell
and convey the same in pursuance of the decree &
power aforesaid, In Witness whereof the said George B. Ellis
Special Master as aforesaid hath hereto set his hand
and seal the 9th day of December 1856
