Range twenty two Containing of Seventy nine acres and forty
six hundredth of an Acre and the South east quarter of Section
Twenty one in Township nine South of Range Twenty two
containing one hundred and fifty nine acres and twelve
hundred of an acre to have and to hold the above granted
premises to the Said J.A. Turnipseed and George G. McCants
their heirs and assigns to them and their use and behoof
forever and I the James Fennel for my Self and my heirs
Executors administrators do covenant with the said
J.A. Turnipseed and George G. McCants their heirs and
and assigns that I am lawfully Seized in fee Simple of
the aforegranted premises that tha are free from all in-
cumbrances that I have good right to sell and convey the
same to the said J.A. Turnipseed and George G. McCants
their heirs and assigns forever as aforesaid and that I
will and my heirs Executors and administrators Shall war-
rant and defend the same to the said J.A. Turnipseed
and George G. McCants their heirs and assigns forever against
the lawful Claims and demands of all persons in wit-
ness whereof I the said James Fennel hereunto Set my
hand and Seal this the 5th day of January A.D. 1854

Know all men by these presents that I Hariet Fennel wife
of the within named James Fennel for and in consideration
of the sum of Fifteen Hundred dollars to me in hand paid
by the within named J.A. Turnipseed and George G. McCants
I do hereby relinquish and renounce all my dower and
right and title to dower in and to the premises mentioned
in the within Indenture to the said J.A. Turnipseed and
George G. McCants and I do hereby acknowledge that the
said Relinquishment and renounciation of dower is made
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from the within named James
Fennel my said husband taken and acknowledged
by the said Hariet Fennel seperate and apart from
her Said husband this the 5th day of January A.D. 1854
