State of Florida, Alachua County
Know all men by these presents that I James T. Thomas of the State
of Florida and County of Alachua for and consideration of the sum
of nine hundred and twenty dollars to me paid by John L. Yongue
of the State of South Carolina and District of Fairfield have granted
bargained sold and released and by these presents do grant bargain sell
and release unto the said Jno L. Yongue a certain tract or parcel of 
land containing ninety two acres Situated on the waters of Sweet Water
Branch in the State and County aforesaid Commencing at the corner bet-
ween Sections four (4) and five (5) eight (8) and nine (9) in Township ten (10)
Range twenty (20) of the Arredondo Grant and being the NW corner of
Section nine (9) running from said corner due East along Sectional
line twenty four (24) chains to a stake thence due south thirty two 75/100 32 75/100
chains to a pine on the bank of the Sweet Water Branch thence down
the channel of said Branch to where the line between sections Eight (8)
and nine (9) crosses said Branch thence due north along said Sec-
tional line forty four (44) chains to the place of starting said piece of
land being bounded on the west by Lands belonging to J.L. Yongue
North by lands of T. Ingram East and south by lands of J.T. Thomas as together
with all and singular the rights members hereditaments and
appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise incident
or appertaining to have and to hold all and singular the premises
before mentioned unto the said Jno L. Yongue his heirs and assigns
forever and I do hereby bind myself my heirs executors administrators
and assigns to warrant and forever defend all and singular the
premises before mentioned unto the said Jno L. Yongue his heirs and
assigns against myself, my heirs and assigns and against every other
person lawfully claiming the same or any part thereof in testimony
whereof I do hereunto set my hand and afix my seal this 14th of

Alachua County   } of the peace in and for Alachua County John L.
Cameron a Subscribing witness to the within deed who be duly sworn

deed is genuine, written by him on the 14th day of Feby A.D. 1857
Sworn and Subscribed before me in the town of Gainseville this the

I, Christopher Matheson of the Town of Camden in the District and State 
aforesaid In consideration of Natural Love and affection for my
daughter Mary C. McCaa wife of Dr Thomas W. McCaa and also in
further consideration of Five dollars to me in hand paid by Alex-
ander Matheson all these being likewise of the District and State
aforesaid have given bargained sold and delivered and by these presents
