do give bargain sell and deliver unto the said Alexander Matheson
a certain Negro Woman Slave named Margaret about Eighteen
years of age To Have and to hold the said Negro woman Slave named
Margaret, Together with the future issue and increase unto the said
Alexander Matheson his Executors and administrators In trust and
upon this Special confidence that he the said Alexander Math-
eson his Executors and Administrators Shall and do suffer and
permit the said Mary C. McCaa to retain the possession of the said
Slave Margaret with her issue and increase and to recieve use
and enjoy the hire profits and labor thereof to her sole and seperate
use free from the control contracts debts and disposals of her
present or any future husband for and during the term of the
natural life of the said Mary C. McCaa, And upon this further
Special trust and confidence that after and immediately upon
the death of the said Mary C. McCaa he the said Alexander Mat-
heson his Exors or Admrs shall hold the said Negro Slave Mar-
garet Together with her future issue and increase for the benefit
of the heirs of the body of the said Mary C. McCaa who may be living
at the time of her death Share and Share alike to them their Execu-
tors administrators and assigns forever, But in case the said Mary
C. McCaa should die leaving no heirs of her body alive at the time
of her death them and in that case for the benefit of the said Christopher
Matheson his Executors administrators or assigns forever, In
Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this the twenty fourth day of April One thousand Eight hun-
dred and fifty two and in the Seventy six year of American
Independence --- Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence
of W.M. Shannon                         C. Matheson  (L.S.)
I accept the trust of the within Deed Witness my hand and Seal
this 28th day of April 1852  A. Matheson (L.S.)
Signed sealed in presence of W.M. Shannon
         South Carolina,  Kershaw District
  Personally appeared W.M. Shannon and made oath that
he saw C. Matheson sign Seal and deliver the within Deed
of Trust for the uses and purposes therein mentioned and
that he also saw A. Matheson sign and seal the accep
tance of the within trust and that he Subscribed his name
as witness to the due Execution of the same

and Ex officio register of mense Conveyed for the District of Kershaw
in the State aforesaid hereby certify that the foregoing two pages
hereunto annexed contains a truly Copy of a certain Trust Deed from
C. Matheson to A. Matheson, Trustee for M.C. McCaa recorded in the
Registers office Aforesaid as appears by the Book in which the same 
was registered remaining in my office in testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal
