Alachua County     Personally appeared before me
the undersigned a Justice of the Peace within and
for the Said John S. Livingston who acknowledged
that he executed the foregoing Instrument
for the purposes therein set for the witness
my hand this tenth day of June 1836

State of Florida
Alachua County     Know all men these presents
that I John B. Stanley of the State and County
aforesaid am held and firmly bound unto John
H. Ellis Guardian of Thomas S. Ellis in the Sum
of Six thousand dollars for the payment whereof
well and truly to be maid, I bind myself my
heir Executors and administrators firmly by
these presance Signed and Sealed this 5th day 
of February 1857.
    The conaction of the above obligation is such
that whereas the Said John B. Ellis has 
this day for himself and as Guardian for
Thomas S. Ellis Sold their entire equal and
undivided interest; Sold unto the above bounded
John B. Stanley the following Negros
Slaves to wit; Negro woman Mary aged about
forty five years and her Children Jim
Martha John Andrew, Elsey, Alfred, Sam
Job and Bill of the ages of nineteen Seven
five and three years respectfully for the Sum
of Six Thousand of which amount the Sum
of three Thousand Dollars is this day paid
And the remaining Three Thousand Dollars
to be paid on 1st January AD 1858 with 6 (Six)
per cent interest from date Subject however
to the following consideration That if the Said
Thomas S. Ellis on his attaining the age of twenty
one years Shall ratify Said contract
by consenting to Said Sale as transfer of
his interest therein then the above bound John
B. Stanly is to pay the Said Sum of Three Thousand
Dollars with interest as aforesaid; And if
