Alachua County This indenture entered into
on this the Second day of March Eighteen hundred
& fifty seven, between James B. Bailey of the
first part & E.E. Adamson of the Second part
Witnesseth For and inconsideration of the
Sum of one hundred dollars the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged The party of the first
part has bargained and sold to the Said Adamson
the following lot or parcel of land to wit;
Begining at a Stake on the Eastern boundrey
of the Town of Gainesville and running East, two hun-
dred and twenty thence North one hundred
yards thence west to the Said Eastern boundrey
thence South along Said boundrey to the point
of begining Containing four and a half acres
more or less and Known as Lot No. Six East
Gainesville and lying and being in Section
four, township ten Range twenty To have &
to hold with all the appertanaces thereunto
belong to the Said Adamson his heirs & assigns
forever, and the Said Bailey further covenants
with the Said Adamson that he is lawfully
Seized of the above described Lot of Land, that it
is free from all encumbrances and that he has
good right to sell the same and he will
warrant and defend the Said Adamson
in the peaceable possession of the Same against
the legal claim of any person whomsoever
To all which he dose by the presence bind himself
