Before me personally appeared on this the secon day
of July AD 1857 Robert Weeks who being duly
sworn says that he was one of the witnesses to the
foregoing deed that he saw Elias Earle & his
wife Mary L. Earle sign and seal and deliver the
same for the purposes therein mentioned and
that he together with Benj F. Parker signed
the same as witnesses,

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that I,
Mary A. Slade of the County and State aforesaid for and in
consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars to me in
hand paid By A. Hague of the State and County afores-
aid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have grante
bargained sould conveyed aliened remised released and
confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain
sell convey convey alien remise release and confirm
unto the said A. Hague all that tract or parcel of land
lying and being situate in the County and State afore
said, Know as the Extreme south East corner of the
east half of the west half of the North East quarter of
section Eleven (11) Township Eight (8) south of Range
(18) East, containing one quarter of an acre more
or less One hundred and fifteen feet East and West
by seventy six feet North and south Bounded as
follows, West by land belonging to T.C. Love and North
by T.C. Love and Hester Valentine a free person of
color, East by D.J. Ridaught, South by F.S. Roux To
Have and to hold the above granted premises with
the appertenances, thereof unto the said A. Hague
his heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use
benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said
Mary A. Slade binds herself her heirs and assigns to
to covenant and defend the above granted and barg=
ained premises with the appertinances unto
the said A. Hague his heirs and assigns against
all claims and demands whatsoever In witness
whereof the said Mary A. Slade has hereunto set
her hand and seal, this the 25th day of September
One thousand Eight hundred and fifty six.
