Alachua County   } On the 10th day of July One thousand
Eight hundred and fifty five before the subscriber
a Justice of the Peace in and for said County,
personally came and appeared Elizabeth Malphurs
well known to me to be the lawful wife of said
John H. Malphurs who being duly examined ack
nowledged and declared that she signed sealed and deliver
the foregoing indenture for the purposes and with the
intent hereby to convey all her interest and to relin
quish and renounce all her dower and right of Dower
in and to the said Lot tract and gore of land
and premises in said Instrument mentioned
and described as sould and conveyed and that
the same was done by her freely and voluntarily
and without any compulsion constraint appre
hension or fear of or from her said husband the sa
John H. Malphurs. In witness whereof I have
have hereunto set my hand and seal this 10th day
of July AD 1855

that I, David B. Williamson of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida for and in consideration of
two thousand dollars to me in hand paid have gran
ted bargained sold and by these presents do bargain
