missioner appointed by the Governor of the State of
Florida and duly qualified to take the acknowledgements
deeds in the State of Maryland to be used and recorded in
the State of Florida do certify that Charles W. Brush
& Julia A. Vanness personally well known to me to
be the grantors and the parties described in and who
Executed the deed hereunto annexed personally app
eared before me in the City and State aforesaid and
acknowledged that they had executed the same and 
for the purposes therein set forth. And the said
Julia A. Van Ness being at the same time by me
duly sworn deposed and said that she had executed
the same by virtue of a power of Atorney Execu
ted to her by Eugene Van Ness for this purpose and
that said power was duly recorded in the office of
the Clerk of the Circuit Court of St. Johns County
in said State of Florida. In testimony whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal of
office this 3rd day of April in the year 1855.
