State of Louisana }     April 3rd 1854
Parish of Caddo   } Know all men by these presents
that I James Hamilton McIntosh as one of the heirs
at Law of my deceased Grandfather, John Housto9n
McIntosh have an Interest in a certain tract
of Land Known as Rockey Pond lying upon Paynes
Pararie in Alachua County, in the State of
Florida Know ye that I the Said James Hamilton
McIntosh have made constituted and appointed and
by these presents do make constitute and appoint
Henry R. Sadler my true and lawful attorney for
me in my name to Sell grant, and convey the Same
absolutely in fee simple for Such price or Sum
of money and to Such person or persons as he Shall
think fit and convenient and also for me and in
my name, to Sell execute and deliver Such deeds
conveyances bargains and sales for the absolute Sale
and disposition of any Said Interest in the land a
bove described with Such covenants and agreements
therein contained as my Said attorney may think pro
per and expedient: Hereby ratifying and confirming
all Such deeds conveyances, bargains and Sales which
Shall at any time hereafter be Soled and executed
by my Said attorney touching or concerning the
premises, binding my self my heirs or assigns
In testamony whereof I have hereunto Set my
hand and Seal, in the presents of the undersigned
witnesses this the third day of April A.D. Eighteen
hundred and fifty four

of Attorney for the purposes, therein mentioned
and acknowledged the Same to be his act and deed
on the day and year mentioned Done in my office
in the Town of Shreveport Parish and State
aforesaid this third day of April AD Eighteen hun
dred and fifty four as witness my hand and Seal
