Duval County    }  This Indenture made this
twenty third day of January in the year of our
Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and fifty Seven
between George C. Gibbs of Said County and State
Special Guardian of Catharine McIntosh an Infant
under the age of twenty one years of the first part
and Edward Haile of Alachua County and State
aforesaid of the Second part Witnesseth Whereas
a petition has been before presented to Judge of the
Circuit Court of the eastern Circuit of Florida by
Catharine A. Sadler The Aunt and next friend of
Said minor praying for a Sale of the right title
and interest of Said Infant in the real estate
therein mentioned and whereas Such proceedings
were afterwards had in said Court upon said pe-
tition that by an order of Said Court made on
the Twentieth day of June AD 1856 the Said George
C. Gibbs was appointed the Special Guardian of Said
Infant for the purposes of Said application upon
his Complying with the Statute in Such case made
and provided and whereas by an order made by the
Said Court on the twentieth day of October
of the Same year the Said G.C. Gibbs was author
ised and empowered to sell and Convey the right
title and Interest of Said Infant in Said real
Estate upon the terms & conditions there in
mentioned and whereas it was further ordered by
Said Court in and by Said last mentioned order
that Said Special Guardian sould execute ac-
knowledge and deliver to the Said Edward Haile a
good and sufficient conveyance of all the estate right
title and interest of the Said Infant in and to the
Said premises Now therefore this indenture witnesses
that the Said party of the first part for and in con-
sideration of the Sum of twelve hundred and twenty
five dollars to him in hand paid at and before the en-
sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby conveyed and acknowledged as Special Guar-
dian as aforesaid by virtue of the power and authority
conferred on him by the Several owners above mentioned
and in pursuance of the Statute in Such case made 
and provided hath granted bargained released re-
mised Sould and conveyed and by these presents
doth grant bargain Sell remise release and convey
unto the Said party of the Second part his heirs
and assigns forever all the right title and interest
of the Said Infant the Said Catharine McIntosh
