  City of Augusta       } This Seventh day of November
                          in the year of our Lord one
Thousand Eight hundred and fifty five before me Gar
land A. Snead a Commissioned resident in the City
and State first aforesaid duly commissioned and quali-
ified by the Executive authority and the Constitution
and laws of the State of Florida to administer oaths or
affirmation and to take dispositions and affidavits to be
used in Said State of Florida and to take proof and
the acknowledgement of Deeds or other instruments
to be used or ***** therein: Personally appeared Henry
A. Clinch of the City of New Orleans, but at the present
time in the City and State first aforesaid to me kno-
wn to be the identical person named in and who
Executed the within and foregoing deed of Conveyance
and acknowledged that he signed Sealed and delivered the
Same to Edward Haile the Grantee therein
named in the day and year therein mentioned as
his voluntary act and deed and that Claiborne Sne-
ad and my-self as commissioner as aforesaid Sub
Scribed our names as witnesses to the due execution
of Said Conveyance by the Said Henry A. Clinch
for the purposes expressed therein, And in the Same
day and year and in the City and State first aforesaid
Francis Gabrella Clinch the wife of the within named
Henry A. Clinch and known to me to be Such
and having been privately and separately exam
ined by me She did declare that She did freely Vol-
untarily and without any compulsion, dread or fear
of any person or persons whomsoever renounced releas-
ed forever relinquish unto Edward Haile named
in the within conveyance as the grantee his
heirs and assigns all her interest and estate and also all
her right and claim of Dower of in or to all and sin
gular the premises released by the Said within Conveyed
by her Said husband to the Said Edward Haile therein
named as grantee In testamony of all of which I
have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my official Seal
as Such Commissioned and the Said Francis Gabrel-
la Clinch also having hereunto Set her hand and
Seal in my presents on this the Seventh November
in the year of Our Lord 1855.
