for the State of Florida residing in the City and
State aforesaid personally came and appeared Thos.

me personally known as a Public Notary for the County
and State aforesaid who being duly sworn Saith that
he saw the grantors to the within deed to him
personally well known Sign Seal and execute
the Same and that at their request he with Joseph

This Indenture maid and entered into this
the first day of June Anno Domini One Thousand
Eight hundred and fifty five: between James Ham
ilton McIntosh of the State of Louisiana and Parish
of Caddo one of the heirs at law of John Houston
McIntosh late of the State of Georgia deceased party
of the first part and Edward Haile of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida party of the Second
part Witnesseth that the Said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred
dollars to him in hand paid by the Said party
of the Second part at and before the ensealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged have granted bargained Sould alie-
ned conveyed and confirmed and by these presents
do grant bargain Sell alien convey and confirm
unto the Said party of the second part his heirs and
assigns all my right title interest claim and deman
mand as one of the heirs of John Houston McIntosh deceased
