cuted the within deed for the purposes therein

 This Indenture made this twenty first day of
March AD One thousand Eight hundred and fifty
seven, between Gabereal P. Thomas of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida party of the
first part and Samuel B. McLin of the same
place party of the second part, Witnesseth that the
party of the first part for and in consideration of the
sum of one hundred and sixty dollars to him
in hand paid by the party of the second part at and
before the sealing and delivery of these presents the re-
ceipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained
souled aliened conveyed and confirmed and by these pre
sents do bargain sell alien convey and confirm
unto the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns all that certain tract or parcel of La
nd Situate in the Town of Gainesville Alachua
County State of Florida and known as Lot num
ber four (4) Block number Three (3) Range four,
(4) according to the plat of said town together
with all the appertainances rights titles interest and
demands of the party of the first part in and to
the premises To have and to hold the above men
tioned and described premises unto the party of the
first part, his heirs and assigns forever in fee sim
ple. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my
