lawful money of the United States of America
by by H.H. Colson to James B. Bailey, Treasurer
of said County The Receipt whereof is hereby ac-
knowledged, have granted bargained Sould, re
leased, conveyed and confirmed unto the Said H.H.
Colson, his heirs and assigns the following lot of Land
Viz Block (1) one, Range (6) Six in the Town of Gaine
sville and I, the Said Andrew Robb for myself as
such Judge of Probate, and for my successors
in office, do and will by these presents, forever
warrant, and defend the pemises aforesaid to the
Said H.H. Colson and to his heirs and assigns, in
Witness Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and
and affixed my private seal there being no Seal of
office this 30 Thirtyeth day of March AD 1857

Alachua County   } This Indenture maid the
27 day of Jany in the year of our Lord one thous
and Eight hundred and fifty Seven, Between
Samuel E. Plowden of Said County and State
of the first part, and John M. Hires of the Same
place, of the Second part. Witnesseth that the Sa-
id Samuel E. Plowden for and in Consider-
ation of the Sum of one dollar to him in
hand paid by the Said John M. Hires, as well
as for the Secureing of the Sum of Two Thousand dol-
lars, in manner and form as herein after desc-
ribed, being the amount of Purchase money of
the land herein after described, Which by In
denture sealed and delivered the Said John M.
Hires did on the twenty sixth day of January Ei-
ghteen hundred and fifty Seven convey to the Said
Samuel E. Plowden: has granted bargained
Sould aliened enfeoffed and conveyed and by
these presents, doth give grant, bargain bar
gain Sell alien enfeoff and convey unto the
Said John M. Hires the following tract or
parcel of Land, Situated in the Said County
and State and Known as the North East quarter
of the North west quarter of Section Eleven and
the South half of Lot No Six and the Lot No (7)
Seven of Section Two in Township Eight, So-
uth of Range nineteen East, in the District
of Lands Subject to Sale at the land office at
Newnansville Florida containing one hundred and fifty
