To have and to hold the Said lots of Land unto the
Said John M. Hires his heirs and assigns forever
And the Said Samuel E. Plowden will and his heirs
Executors and administrators Shall the aforegranted
pemises to the Said John M. Hires his heirs Executors
Administrators or assigns forever warrant and defend
by these presents, Provided nevertheless that if the Said
Samuel E. Plowden his heirs Executors or adminis
trators Shall pay unto the Said John M. Hires his
Executors or administrators, the Just and full Sum of
five hundred dollars at and before the Ensealing and delive
ry of these pesents, the further Sum of Seven hundred
and fifty dollars on the first day of January whi
ch will be in the year of our Lord Eighteen hun
dred and fifty eight with interest thereon,
at the rate of Seven per cent, from date Said
Sum of money being secured by a promissory
note bearing date even with these presents and the
further sum of Seven hundred and fifty dollars on
the first day of January which will be in the year
of our Lord Eighteen hundred and fifty nine with
Interest thereon, at the rate of Seven per cent, as
aforesaid Said Sum of money being Secured by
a promissory note of even date with these presents
Then as well this deed as the above described promissory
notes to be null and void otherwise to be and rema-
