Alachua County } This Indenture made and entered
into on this the day of
January A.D. 1862 Between Tillman Ingram of the
first part and Lavina Bevill of the State and
County aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth
for and in consideration of the sum of one
hundred Dollars to me in hand paid the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have
bargained and Sold and by these presents do
bargain and Sell to the party of the second part
the following Lot peice or parcel of Land
lying and being in the Town of Gainesville to wit
Lot Number Block Number Four containing
Two hundred feet Square further described by
a map made by P. Henry Young Together with all
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining
To have and to hold to the said party of
the second part her heirs Executors administrators
or assigns forever And I of the first part do
further covenant with the party of the second
part that I am lawfully seized of the above
described Lot or peice of Land, that I have good
right to sell the same to which I do by these
presents bind myself my heirs Executors & admin
istrators or assigns forever, And I do by these
presents warrant and defend the said party
of the second part in peaceable possession of
the same against the lawful claim of all
persons whomsoever
