This Indenture made this the first day of January
Eighteen hundred and Sixty seven between T.
A. McDonell and Susan J. McDonell his wife party
of the first part and S.F. Harvard party of
the second part. Witnesseth that the said
party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Seven hundred Dollars to them in
hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowl-
edged hath bargained granted and Sold and
by these presents doth bargain sell and grant
unto the said party of the Second part his heirs
and assigns all the lot tract or parcel of Land
situated lying and being in the County of
Alachua State of Florida and Known and distin-
guished as that lot of land lying contiguous to the
Town of Gainesville beginning at at a Stake two
hundred and forty feet from the Southern Boundary
of said Town on the west side of continuation
of Main Street being two hundred feet Square
on the front of the continuation of Said Street
and Known as the Residence of T.A. McDonell 
husband of the said Susan J. McDonell 
Together with all the rights and appurtenances to
the same belonging or in any wise appertaining
  To have and to hold the aforesaid bargained
premises together with all and Singular the rights
and appurtenances unto the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns to him and
their own sole proper use, benefit and behoof
forever in fee Simple.
  In Testimony whereof the said party of the first
part hath hereunto set their hands and affixed their
seals the day and year first above written.

Susan J. McDonell wife of T.A. McDonell  who being
examined Seperate and apart from her said hus-
band did acknowledge that she freely and vol-
untarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
Sign seal and deliver with her said husband
the foregoing deed thereto relinquishing and
