Alachua County   } This Indenture entered into
                   on this the 10th day of January
in the year Eighteen hundred & sixty seven
between Alexander Leonard of the first part
and R.B. Wasson and Nathaniel Ingersall
parties using the name style and firm
of R.B. Wassan &Co of the second part all
of the County and State aforesaid.
Witnesseth, For and in consideration of
the sum of Three hundred Dollars ($300) the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by
Alexander Leonard has this day bargained &
sold to R.B. Wasson &Co the following Lot piece
or parcel of land lying and being in the
Town of Gainesville and described as follows
to wit, the south half of lot No Ten (10) as
will more fully appear from a plat of
said Town made by P. Henry Young containing
one half acre more or less. To have and to
hold to the said R.B. Wasson &Co their heirs
Executors administrators & assigns forever. And
I Alexander Leonard does further covenant
that he is lawfully seized of the above de-
scribed Lot of land that he has good
right to sell the same and will warrant
& defend the said R.B. Wasson in the quiet
and peaceable possession with all the
appurtenances thereunto attached against
