Five chains and ten links to the place of
beginning containing in all Eight acres more
or less and being the lot or parcel of
land on which is situated the Engine
and Gin House of the said party of the
second part. To have and to hold all
and singular the said premises with the
priveledges improvements and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise apper-
taining unto him the said party of the
second part his heirs and assigns forever
in fee simple. And I the said party
        first
of the second part for myself my heirs
executors and administrators do hereby
covenant to and with the said party
of the second part his heirs executors ad-
ministrators and assigns that I am seized
of a good and indefeasable estate in the
above described premises and have full
right power and authority to sell and convey
the same that the same is clear of all
incumbrance and that I my heirs, execu-
tors and administrators will forever warrant
and defend the said premises unto the
said party of the second part his heirs
executors administrators and assigns forever
against the lawful claims of every and
all persons whatsoever.

Know all men by these presents that I Nancy
Pendarvis wife of the grantor above named for
and in consideration of the premises in the
foregoing deed mentioned and for the further
consideration of one dollar to me in hand
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
do hereby release and relinquish all my
dower and equity of Dower in and to the
premises in said deed mentioned unto the
said Jacob E. Dodd his heirs executors ad-
ministrators and assigns forever and I
do hereby declare and acknowledge that I
