This Indenture made this twelfth day of
January AD Eighteen hundred & fifty Eight between Archilaus
Hague and Martha Hague his wife parties of the first part
and Joseph Baldwin of the Same place of the Second
part Witnesseth, that the parties of the first part for
and in Consideration of the Sum of two hundred and
fifty dollars to them in hand paid before the delivery hereof
have bargained and Sold, and by these presents do
grant & Convey unto the parties of the Second part, his
heirs and assigns forever, all that Certain tract or
parcel of Land lying and being in the Town of Newnansville
and Known and described upon the plat of Said Town
as Block No two (2) Range No one (1) Except SE1/4 Corner
occupied by Robert Campbell, To Have and to hold
the above described premises with the appurtinances
unto the Said Joseph Baldwin his heirs and assigns
in "fee Simple" And the Said parties of the first part
do hereby Covenant to and with the party of the Second part
his heirs and assigns to warrant & defend, the party of
the Second part in the quiet & peaceable possession of
the Same, and that they are Seized of a good indefea
=sible Estate of inheritance to the Same, In Witness whereof
the parties of the first part have hereunto Set their hands
and Seals, this the day and year first above written
