This Indenture made the fourteenth day of
February in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and Sixty seven, Between Matilda
S. Brown Administratrix of all and Singular
the Goods & Chattels rights and Credits which
were of the Estate of the late George L. Brown
deceased of Alachua County and State of Florida
of the first part and Lane Scott of said
County and State of the second part
   Witnesseth that the said party of the
first part by virtue and authority to her
given in and by an order issued from
the Judge of the Probate Court of Alachua
County, and for and in consideration of
the sum of Eighty Dollars lawful money
of the United States to her in hand paid
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted bargained sold aliened
released conveyed and confirmed and
by these presents do grant bargain sell
alien convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part his heirs
and assigns forever All that certain
tract peice or parcel of land lying in
the County of Alachua & State of Florida
Known and described as the W1/2 of SW1/4 Sec
2 T8 Range 18, Eighty acres.
Together with all and singular the
tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise be-
longing, And also all the estate right
title interest, claim, demand what-
soever, both in law and Equity which
the said Intestate had in his life time of in
or to the same. To have and to hold all
the above premises above mentioned and
described with their appurtenances unto the
party of the second part his heirs and assigns
to his and their only proper use benefit and
behoof for ever. In witness whereof the Said
party to these presents has hereunto set his hand
& Seal the day and year above written.
