in said County and whereas the said
John R. Bevill bought said Land at and
for the sum of Six thousand four hun-
dred Dollars which was the highest
sum. Now the said J.M. Jones heir at
law and Atty in fact remainder heirs
of Abram Bessant Decd in consideration
of the said sum of Six thousand Four
hundred Dollars ($6,400) to him in hand
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowl-
edged, has granted, bargained, sold, aliened
and conveyed, and by these presents does
grant, bargain, Sell, alien and convey
unto the said John R. Bevill his heirs
and assigns, All that certain piece
parcel or Section of Land situate lying
and being in a tract of Land Known
as the Arradonda Grant in the County
of Alachua which is Known and distinguished
on a certain Map or plat of said Grant
made in the year 1846 by Messrs Burr &
Washington as Section Number six (6) in
Township No (10) ten in Range number
nineteen (19) containing Six hundred and
forty acres of land to the same more or
less. To have and to hold said premises
to the said John R. Bevill his heirs Executors
and Administrators forever in fee simple
    In testimony whereof the said James M.
Jones Heir at law and Atty in fact for heirs
of Abram Bessent Deceased has hereunto set
his hand & Seal this day & year above written.
